A widower who only had a Creme Egg for Christmas dinner had his life transformed by a kind woman who he met on the street.
Vicky Prendergast, 34, from West Derby in Liverpool, was walking to the shops on Wednesday when she passed Panda Chinese and Chippy and was approached by a man stood outside the takeaway.
The man, known as Dave, told Vicky how he lost his wife and son in a car crash last year and he lost his 30 year job as a lorry driver.
