While fans across the globe recognize Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson for playing Peeta Mellark in the dystopian franchise, his most rewarding role unfolds far away from movie cameras. The actor has built a quiet life as an intensely devoted pet parent, and his personal adoption journey highlights the incredible power of rescue animals, noting on a recent Instagram post “Adoption has always been close to my hear”.
During an appearance at the spcaLA facility in Long Beach, California, the actor opened up about a personal struggle entirely unrelated to “surviving dystopian arenas” or navigating Hollywood blockbusters.
