Hundreds of euros have been raised for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust after a Kerry man tragically died unexpectedly while in Vancouver, Canada.
Brad Duffy of Tralee died suddenly on February 19 of this year in Canada. With the help of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, Brad’s body was repatriated from Vancouver to Ireland, a process that can be quite expensive.
Now, to help future repartitions for Irish citizens, a GoFundMe has been set up to raise funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

According to its website, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust: “Aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body of loved ones who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.”
A statement on the GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust said: “Brad Duffy of Racecourse Heights, Tralee, Kerry, died unexpectedly in Vancouver, Canada on February 19 2023, adored son of Ray and Diana and dearest brother of Darragh.
“Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his girlfriend Caroline, grandparents Seamus, Winifred and Maureen, uncles and aunts, cousins, relatives and many friends.
“The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust was of great help in assisting with Brad’s repatriation from Vancouver to Ireland.
“The funds raised will go to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. The money will be used for future repartitions for Irish citizens. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Rest in peace, Brad.”
