Hundreds of staff at Australia's oldest university are set to walk off the job amid concerns over artificial intelligence.

University of Sydney staff will strike for 24 hours on Wednesday after failed negotiations between the National Tertiary Education Union and university management over a new enterprise bargaining agreement.
