Successful Halloween events took place in parks across South Lanarkshire and hundreds of children took part in the fun.
Over the weekend, a range of activities were held in the venues for families to enjoy.
Two sessions of ‘spooky storytelling’ were held in Chatelherault Park on Sunday (October 30) by the Folksy Theatre Group. The sessions included spooky stories told with the help of puppets, followed by a picnic in the Grand Banqueting Hall.
There was also a sold-out performance of the Haunted Halloween Tour of the Hunting Lodge, set within the grounds of Chatelherault Country Park.
Adults were invited to take a walk through the west lodge after hours, led on the hunt for some ghosts.
Visitors got to see parts of the building that are usually off-limits to the public.
There also was a sell-out candle lit tour of Hamilton Mausoleum, where visitors had a guided tour of the mausoleum and crypt.
At Calderglen Zoo, more than 500 children attended the Mythical Mayhem event where they helped to solve clues and work out what mysterious creatures had been visiting the zoo.
