Protesters clash with riot police in Portsmouth after 140 migrants rescued from 'mega-dinghy'

Hundreds of demonstrators were in a standoff with police into the early hours of Monday as they vowed to prevent around 140 migrants rescued from a “mega-dinghy” from leaving Portsmouth.

Demonstrators blocked roads for hours and were vowing to stay all night in the second major anti-migrant protest of the weekend.
