Hundreds of police officers gathered to line the street for the funeral of a colleague killed in a collision on the A66.

Standard bearers from every UK force attended the service for 37-year-old Pc Matthew Blades at St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in his home town of Hartlepool.
