A large part of south Dublin has been left without water due to a major outage.
A burst water main has resulted in supply disruptions to residents in the southside. The affected areas are Rathfarnham, Rathdown, Crannagh, Terenure, Milltown, Rathgar, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Harold's Cross, and surrounding areas in Co Dublin
Irish Water is working to restore the water supply and works are estimated to take place until 8pm tonight. A spokesperson for the company said: "We recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return."
