Hundreds of Boohoo workers hit out at 'unconscionable' shift changes saying 'people are not machines'

Hundreds of employees at one of Boohoo's giant warehouses have formally complained over "unconscionable" shift changes.

Over 200 workers at the fashion group's base in Crick, Northamptonshire, are involved with union Unite saying the proposed move will leave the 'workforce having only one weekend off in every five'. The union added that the new shift patterns 'will also leave workers with fragmented single days off'.

However Boohoo said this claim was incorrect and that the proposed shift pattern is for a three-on / three-off basis.
