Hundreds turned out for the second day of Africa Oye 2022.
Festival goers were treated to a weekend of music and dance from an incredible line-up of performers in Sefton Park. The annual festival is the largest free celebration of African music in the UK.
There was plenty of BBQs, dancing and singing from festival goers making the most of another wonderful event in the city. So far, the rain has held off and it looks like it could be an evening with some brighter skies.

Valérie Ekoumé, Kanda Bongo Man and Tabanka Djaz entertained crowds on the final day of this year's festival. Grammy award-winning artist, Oumou Sangaré, will take to the stage at 9.15pm as the headlining act.
Other acts who performed today (Sunday, June 19) include L100 Cypher, Ni Maxine and Santrofi. Food stalls, workshops and traders offered a taste of African culture with many on offer for festival goers to enjoy.
