The soaring cost of replacing Barlinnie prison will be investigated by the Scottish Government, Humza Yousaf has said.
The notorious Victorian jail in the east end of Glasgow is no longer fit for purpose and it was previously estimated that a replacement would cost £100m.
But the Sunday Mail revealed last week that projected costs have since soared to £400m.
