Man kept as slave in shed for 40 years on caravan park near Carlisle

A man has admitted exploiting a vulnerable worker who lived in a six-foot shed on a caravan park for more than 40 years.

Peter Swailes, 56, exploited the vulnerable worker who worked for £10 a day and lived in a green shed with conditions worse than his family’s dog, investigators said.
