Hulk Hogan has reportedly lost the feeling in his lower body following the 11th back surgery of his career.
The wrestler, 69, put his body on the line throughout is illustrious wrestling career - so much so his pal Kurt Angle has claimed he is now paralysed from the waist down.
Hulk - whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea - underwent an unknown procedure in which nerves from his back were removed. No further details were shared of the operation and it remains unknown whether he will ever recover the feelings in his legs, or if he will be permanently paralysed.
The claims by Kurt, 54, were made on a podcast last week in which the former Olympic wrestler revealed his pal suffers no pain and walks with a cane.
He said: "He had the nerves cut from his lower body, he can’t feel his lower body. So, he has to use his cane to walk around.
"I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain, he has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything."
He continued: "So now he can’t feel his legs. So he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that’s pretty serious, man."
It comes after Hulk's 35-year wrestling career has took its toll on his body. In 2021, his daughter Brooke, 34, revealed her dad had gone under the knife 25 times.
Hulk said at the time: "My knees are fake, hips are fake, back is full of metal and part of my face is full of metal."
He also opened up on his injuries in 2006 after suffering a tear in the meniscus in his right knee. Despite avoiding surgery in the injury at the time, it's an incident he said showed him he was getting older.
He said: "I'm sort of freaking out. I'm beginning to learn I'm a lot older... And with age, it's tough to be the same dependable guy I've been in the past. I realise that as I get up there in age, I can't go on forever."
The Mirror has contacted representatives of Hulk for comment.
