Hugo Lloris injury, Antonio Conte's formation plan and Son Heung-min's special relationship

The international break is the time club managers fear as they worry who will return either injured, tired or having lost momentum and confidence and Antonio Conte is no different.

The Tottenham Hotspur boss has already seen captain Hugo Lloris withdraw from France duty with a thigh injury and Welshman Ben Davies had to pull out of his country's squad due to a hairline fracture just below his knee, suffered in the Champions League defeat at Sporting CP.

Lucas Moura has already been out in recent weeks with tendon inflammation in his calf and Conte will be hoping that no more join the injury list ahead of Spurs' return to Premier League action with the north London derby on October 1. The derby comes with Arsenal top of the early table and Spurs just a point behind and unbeaten in third place.

Last weekend Son Heung-min broke his goal duck this season with aplomb with a sensational hat-trick in the 6-2 victory against Leicester City and Conte also used a 3-5-2 formation in the second half, with summer signing Yves Bissouma in an anchor role, which would have given him food for thought ahead of the trip to the Emirates.
