Former Scottish referee Hugh Dallas insists it would be helpful for conversations between on-field officials and VAR to be broadcast to the wider public.
The former grade one ref believes by airing such communications, it will improve transparency in our game.
He insists it would help to "clarify" decisions for fans, as well as managers, players, and pundits.
Tonight's game between Liverpool & Leicester City will be the first in the Premier League to trial allowing viewers from home the chance to hear what is being said between the referee and VAR officials.
These conversations will not be aired live during the match, but FIFA does permit the audio to be heard after the full-time whistle.
Dallas was asked if he would in favour of broadcasting conversations in Scotland to help clear up certain instances in the Premiership on a weekly basis.
He told BBC Sport Scotland: "I would welcome that and I don't think the referees or VARs would have negative thoughts towards this.
"I think it's transparency, I don't think they have got anything to hide. There is a protocol to follow which to has been set out by the International Football Association Board so it allows VARs to do certain things and it doesn't allow them to do other things.
"It allows them to communicate with the referee in a certain manner and they shouldn't go out with that. I think this would definitely clarify exactly what's going on and I'm all for transparency, I don't see any issue with it."
