ITV 's Emmerdale is in store for a week of shocking revelations as fan favourites battle heartache, revenge and trauma.
After suffering a stroke, Marlon Dingle's daughters have been left fearing the worst and as they send him off to the hospital, Paddy is worried he's being fake and ends up recording an odd message. Becoming increasingly frustrated as he meets with a speech therapist, Marlon struggles to string a sentence together.
Naturally upset, Rhona can't take how slow Marlon's progress is and ends up pushing him too hard, prompting a nurse to take her aside to calm down. Paddy tries to console Rhona and promises he will do better but is unable to convince her. After apologising to Marlon, he still can't bring himself to watch the video as it acts as a reminder of everything they've lost.

Laurel and Jai’s relationship has been on the rocks for weeks after he took out a loan in Laurel’s name. Spoilers reveal that in the wake of Marlon’s stroke, Jai will be a crucial support to Laurel as the villagers reel, leaving Laurel to fill Bob in on her situation.
Supportively, Bob tells her that Brenda forgave him in a similar situation, giving Laurel food for thought. Later on, Laurel meets Jai in the café to return the rest of his things, but she begins to agonise over the decision, wondering if she’s made a mistake.
Confused and emotional, Laurel later gives in to her feelings and kisses Jai, but whether or not she regrets her actions will soon be seen. Elsewhere in the village, Manpreet could be set to reverse her surprise decision on the soap not to testify after running away in the wake of Meena's pre-trial court hearing last week.
Manpreet struggled with the pressure after learning of Meena's pleas and scarpered when she suffered two panic attacks, amid promises to Charles Anderson she was off to the doctors for a check-up. After going missing at the end of last week, Manpreet was finally found after she disappeared into the woods. But ITV spoilers have revealed that Manpreet will reconsider her stance on testifying on the soap next week.
Emmerdale has teased strife ahead for Cain Dingle's son Nate Robinson, after a period off-screen after ex Tracy Metcalfe moved away. Nate is left down in the dumps in upcoming scenes as he struggles with being without their baby daughter Frankie. ITV spoilers reveal that he soon decides to get drunk, as he's desperate to stop the pain of his little one’s absence after watching emotional old videos of her.
As the week goes on Nate remains upset, and tries to rope Ryan Stocks into a drinking session at the pub as he looks to distract himself from missing Frankie.
