Barnsley based vintage clothing brand Glass Onion is coming to Liverpool this Saturday, February 25 with a huge pop-up shop.
Glass Onion began back in 2004 when founder John began selling vintage clothing out of his Grandma’s coal shed in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. For Glass Onion, the next fifteen years consisted of market stalls, festival pop-ups while moving warehouses 10 times.
The business has now grown to become the UK’s leading vintage clothing company, processing up to 22,000kgs of second hand clothing every single week at its HQ. There is an in-house remade factory where damaged, unwanted clothes and off-cuts are recycled and transformed into new items, producing up to 12,000 pieces a month.
