A number of train operators have been hit with a huge system issue this morning - leaving passengers unable to see journey times or book tickets.
According to National Rail, there is a problem with 'real-time information' on a number of systems including journey planners, meaning the app is not working properly. As well as the app, some train operators' websites are also down.
Screens in some stations are also affected by the issue. When the Manchester Evening News tried to search for a journey this morning on the Trainline app, 'no results' were found.

TransPennine Express said: "Due to a fault affecting all train operators, real-time information may not be available on our app, website, and also other train information services. We are working with our industry partners to resolve the issue as soon as possible."
Northern said: "No information about Northern services are currently showing on apps, websites and station screens - we are aware of the issue and apologise for any inconvenience."
