Spiders have begun to descend on homes across Merseyside as people are spooked by the eight-legged creatures appearing from out of the woodwork.
The arachnids can prove to be quite intimidating, especially as more appear throughout your home. As the humid weather returns, the more likely you are to see them crawling up and down the walls.
As warm weather sets in, female spiders that had previously hidden from the cold during the winter start come out in Spring as they prepare to lay their eggs. The fresh group of spiders can bring thousands of eggs, with a female spider being able to lay up to 2,500 eggs.
