Huge queues have formed in Nottingham city centre for a shop's closing down sale. JD Sports outlined its Wellgosh store, on Clumber Street, will be closing in a statement on Tuesday, February 28.
Wellgosh started out as an independent clothes shop in Leicester but was bought by JD Sports in January 2021. The company confirmed it would be closing in a statement on Tuesday, February 28.
"It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closing down of Wellgosh. For over 35 years, Leicester has been the beating heart of our brand and we are grateful to our store teams and the dedicated community that we have created. Our website and stores will close shortly," it said.
