A shopping centre is behind a cordon as a man climbed onto a roof to protest.
Lancashire Police were called to Concourse Shopping Centre in Skelmersdale just before 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 13, following reports of a concern for safety. Police attended and found a man protesting on the roof of a building.
Pictures from the scene show he is holding a sign which reads: "Free Mally Jnr".

A cordon is in place around the building with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service also at the scene.
A spokesperson from Lancashire Police said: "We were called at 1.29pm today to the Concourse, Skelmersdale, to a report of a concern for safety. Officers attended and found a man protesting on the roof of the building.
"A cordon was put in place and will remain in place while the incident is dealt with. We ask that the public stay away from the area."
Concourse Shopping Centre have been approached for comment.
