Liverpool's Royal Albert Dock is hosting a huge celebration for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this weekend.
Taking place on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5, The Royal Weekender will have food, drink and live music from local performers across three stages. The Albert Dock will be decorated with Jubilee flags creating the perfect backdrop for the celebration.
The three stages will be located in front of the Martin Luther King Jr. Building, in Mermaid Courtyard next to the Liverpool Mountain, and on the Brocklebank boat which will be moored on the inner quayside of Merseyside Maritime Museum. Performers include The Sundowners, Heavy North, Seafoam Green and Ali Horn, who'll be taking to the stage between 12pm and 4pm across the weekend.

Visitors to the Albert Dock over the Jubilee weekend can enjoy al fresco dining at many of the restaurants, including 'Best of British Bottomless Brunch' at Revolution on Saturday, the 'Great British Cake Sale' on Sunday, and Chef Ellis Barrie will be at Lerpwl recreating the menu that he prepared for the Queen just over 10 years ago.
Those looking for a light bite or drinks on the go can head to one of the street food vans or pop up bars that'll be dotted around the Dock. There will be cocktails and burritos from Revolucion de Cuba's pop-up Mojito bar, Frozen Margarita Slushie at One O'Clock Gun, and Sangria from Lunyalita.
If you fancy a spot of shopping, some of Liverpool's independents will be ready to welcome you, including The Nest, Lost Soles, Liverpool Pictures and Pride of Liverpool. Tate Liverpool and the Merseyside Maritime Museum will also be open over the Platinum Jubilee weekend, as well as Escape Hunt, Wild Shore and the vintage carousel.
