Huge new housing development takes forward step and plans revealed for special needs school - The latest Cardiff planning round up

Plans for a huge housing development in Cardiff have taken a major step forward. Taylor Wimpey's plans for 2,500 homes, earmarked for land just below the M4 between Pontprennau and Lisvane, were approved by Cardiff Council's planning committee subject to a decision by the Welsh Government on whether or not to call in the final say on the application.

Plans have been revealed for a new special education needs school in Fairwater and a proposal for a 5G mast in Radyr has been resubmitted. Here are the stand out planning applications that were made to and approved by Cardiff Council recently.
