Heron Foods has announced plans to open a new store in Nottingham at the site of a former Sainsbury's shop. The company is opening the new shop in Blenheim Drive in Chilwell and wants to hire people for a number of different positions at the store when it opens next month.
An opening date for the new store has been given as May 24 and the company is recruiting a full team - creating around 20 new jobs. Once open, it will join other Nottingham stores in St Ann's, Bilborough, Clifton, Bulwell, Rise Park, Kimberley, Cotgrave, Ilkeston, Eastwood and Aspley. The company is recruiting for positions such as sales assistants and duty managers.
Posting in a local Facebook group, Heron Foods said: "Heron Foods are opening a new store in Beeston (46‐48 Blenheim Drive, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 5ES) and we are looking to recruit for various permanent positions including Part Time Sales Assistants (8 or 12 hour contracts), Senior Part Time Sales Assistants (16 hour contracts), and a Duty Manager / Supervisor (18 hour contract).
