Huge global food market returns to Ayrshire with dishes from around the world

The global market has returned to Kilmarnock for this weekend.

The popular food court arrived yesterday and will be in the town centre until Sunday.

Market Place (Europe) Ltd stalls include authentic Chinese food, fresh macaroons, katsu noodles, exotic burgers, olives, baklava.

And there are also Fairtrade gifts and crafts available too.

Stalls will be open from 10am to 5pm today and Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

Andy Pidgen, operations manager at Market Place (Europe), said: “We are really looking forward to returning to Kilmarnock we always receive a fantastic warm welcome from the town.

"At the international market, customers can enjoy tastes from across the globe. Stalls will include our famous Wokman, authentic Chinese food, our fantastic baked on site Macaroons our Katsu noodles, Mr Naas with his Fairtrade gifts made from Moroccan Thuya Wood, Ecuadorean craft stall, Exotic Burgers, olives, baklava, fantastic food court are just a few of the delights that visitors can really immerse themselves in a worldwide retail experience.”
