A huge fire broke out in Qatar near one of the World Cup fan villages, with local authorities having to be called to control the flames.
Thick black smoke rose into the strikingly blue sky near a fan village called Qetaifan Island North in the city of Lusail. Officials said the fire originated in a building under construction.
