Huge emergency service response on A92 after car crash as road closed

Emergency teams have raced to the scene of a large car crash in Fife.

Officers were called to the scene of the incident on the A92 at Luthrie, Cupar around 2.50pm on Sunday June 26.

Pictures from the scene show a large number of emergency services vehicles on the road, which has been partly closed at the Parbroath junction for traffic travelling south and at Letham for those going north.

Officers are urging road users to avoid the area.

The exact nature of the crash, or if anyone has been injured, is not known at this time.

A local woman told the Record that she had drove past and seen two cars badly damaged and then witnessed emergency crews racing to the scene.
