Huge Edinburgh beer garden to return this week with cocktail trees and beach huts

A huge Edinburgh beer garden is set to make its return this week ahead of an all summer long residency.

The Garden at Teviot next to Bristo Square proved extremely popular in 2021, with the open air but undercover garden seeing hundreds heading down for a pint.

This week, the Edinburgh University Student's Union announced the site would be making a comeback for 2022, with the venue to open on April 30.

Offering bench tables as well as fully heated and enclosed beach huts, groups are able to reserve tables in advance as well as walk-in on the day.

Opening at midday seven days a week, the garden will be offering day drinks and food, as well as cocktail trees and their famed Teviot nachos.

A resident DJ will also be taking to the decks on Friday and Saturday nights for guests to enjoy as they sit back and relax.

Throughout the spring and summer, the site will be showing a range of different sporting games and events, as well as also offering a large alcohol free drinks selection and smoothie menu for those not fancying a tipple.

Launching on Saturday, you can find more information on the garden here.
