A huge cannabis farm spanning five rooms was discovered by police in a upscale village after a tip-off.
A 29-year-old man from Merseyside was arrested after the raid at an address in Whitmore, in Newcastle-under-Lyne, Staffordshire, on Tuesday. He was then taken to a police station for questioning.
A statement from Staffordshire Police said: "We acted on intelligence and forced entry into an address in Whitmore at 11.55am on Tuesday. We found 182 mature cannabis plants inside five separate rooms which were seized along with growing equipment.

"A 29-year-old man, from Merseyside, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
"Anyone with any information which can help us with our investigation is asked to get in touch."
