This is not a drill: BTS have just announced they’re coming to Australia for their mammoth world tour. The BTS World Tour is set to be the K-Pop supergroup’s largest world tour to date, spanning 79 dates in 34 cities across 23 countries in 2026 and 2027.
It marks the band’s return to the stage following a four-year hiatus due to mandatory South Korean military service, and their first time back to Australia in 10 years. So yeah, it’s a pretty big deal.
The tour is in support of their long-awaited comeback album on March 20, making 2026 well and truly the year of BTS.

BTS’ Australian tour dates
While the good news is that BTS is coming Down Under, the not-so-good news is that the Aussie dates are towards the end of the tour. The BTS World Tour kicks off on April 9, 2026 in South Korea before travelling across Asia, Europe, the US and Canada, and eventually arrives in Australia next year.
The band will land in Melbourne and Sydney in February 2027, with two shows (so far) in each city. At least that gives you plenty of time to pick an outfit!
Melbourne
- Thursday, February 12
- Friday, February 13
Sydney
- Friday, February 20
- Saturday, February 21
Notice how there’s a pretty big gap between the two cities? The tour announcement teases that more cities will be announced for 2027 in Japan, the Middle East and “more”, so there’s a slight chance extra dates (or cities) will be announced soon.
It’s also yet to be announced which venues BTS will be performing in, although previous dates suggest they will be booking stadiums. Love that for them!

When will tickets go on sale for BTS’ Australian tour?
ARMY Membership holders will have access to tickets beginning January 22 and 23. If you’re not already a member of BTS’ official fan club, it will cost you around AUD $33 to join via Weverse.
A general sale will follow on January 24 across all regions, although it’s currently unknown exactly what time.
What are BTS’ concert ticket prices?
It’s also yet to be announced how much tickets will set you back, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out!
What we do know, however, is that the group could make more than $1 billion for their comeback, according to Billboard. Sheesh!
