Construction of a huge new industrial warehouse on Bristol’s northern edge has been completed.
Work on the 115,600 sq ft Unit G5 at the Horizon 38 development in Filton, South Gloucestershire, began in September. It is the largest new-build logistics unit available in the area, according to real estate firms Avison Young and JLL, which are marketing the scheme.
The facility, delivered by St Francis Group and Almcor with main contractor MCS Group, 10 dock-level doors and two ground-level doors; 50 KN/m2 floor loading; a large secure yard; and a range of sustainable features including six electric vehicle charging points. The space also includes 5,600 sq ft of office space on the upper floor.
