Fingers crossed for Tuesday's Euromillions draw as the lucky ticket holder could become the UK’s biggest-ever lottery winner bagging £186 million in a jackpot equivalent to winning the Wimbledon title 93 times. The current British record-holders won their prize just two months ago and if a UK national wins on Tuesday it'll topple them off the top spot.
Having £186 million in the bank would make you richer than popstar Harry Styles, who is worth an estimated £100 million, and you'd even have more cash than singer Adele, who is worth an estimated £150 million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. Your winnings would even dwarf the Wimbeldon prize money which sits at £2m and is waiting for the winner of the men and women's singles titles at this year's championships.
Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester won a record-breaking £184 million when their lucky dip scooped the big EuroMillions jackpot less than two months ago. Another UK winner would also make us the luckiest EuroMillions nation, overtaking France’s 117 wins. Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “I knew my team had been busy with big winners but I didn’t realise what an amazing run of EuroMillions luck the UK has had.

“It’s great to travel to every corner of the country making new millionaires, and we know that EuroMillions makes the biggest winners. These dream-come-true jackpots not only transform the lives of the winners but also enable them to support the friends, family and communities around them."
Andy continued: “I hope we are again celebrating reaching the top of the league table after Tuesday’s draw and we look forward to supporting any big UK winners we create.”
Previous big winner, Joe Thwaite, went straight on to Rightmove to search for homes with no budget when he received word his number had come up. If you win on Tuesday, you'll be able to afford every London property listed on luxury property company Christie’s International Real Estate website, and still have more than £100 million left.
EuroMillions players are urged to buy their tickets before 7.30pm on Tuesday to be in with a chance to win the life-changing amount of money. Camelot said the jackpot will be capped at 230 million euros, which the operator estimates will be reached in the draw this Friday, July 8, if no-one wins on Tuesday.
