Huawei unveils significant update to enhance accuracy, speed and comprehensiveness of health monitoring

Huawei TruSense System.

In a complex world of smart rings, sleep trackers and biosensors, the amount of accessible health monitoring products only seems to be expanding by the day. Whether you’ve turned  tech to manage a chronic condition or you’re a health-conscious individual interested in the power of wearables, it’s almost guaranteed you’ll find something that works for you.

One brand that’s mastered the art of health monitoring is Huawei, particularly when it comes to its array of the best smartwatches. The brand’s wearables offer real-time monitoring of vital signs such as heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure, all of which are vital to helping users achieve a healthy lifestyle.

After celebrating its most significant advancement of health and fitness sensing module and algorithm in the last three years, Huawei has launched the Huawei TruSense System across its wearable devices. The technology empowers the brand’s devices with unmatched capabilities in health monitoring, delivering a more accurate, comprehensive and faster experience than ever before.

Apart from looking to improve a user’s general experience, Huawei TruSense System is equipped with six key features of Huawei wearables’ health and fitness tracking technology. These features include accuracy, comprehensiveness, speed, flexibility, openness and iteration, aiming to provide users with the means to understand their bodies better. This makes room for a deeper level of reliability, especially for those who depend on health wearables to track conditions or diseases.

Huawei has previously developed a range of health and fitness monitoring technologies, including TruSeen, TruSleep, TruSport, TruFit and TruRelax. However, the sheer complexity of human health means single monitoring systems can be limited. Huawei’s decision to integrate these technologies into the TruSense System allows for more accurate and in-depth findings, including physiological as well as psychological tracking.

As research develops, Huawei plans to further explore areas such as coronary heart disease, mental health, seamless blood pressure reading and blood glucose monitoring, in collaboration with more industry experts and professional institutions. Not only is this a necessary step in the right direction, but intricate knowledge around these areas will significantly set Huawei wearables apart from competitors. TruSense System therefore opens a new chapter in health and fitness tracking, providing a more comprehensive sports and health tracking experience to users around the world.

With this development, it’s clear Huawei has laid the foundations for the next decade of wearable devices. With an exclusive launch event taking place next month, it’ll be interesting to see which wearables will harness the new system and when it’ll be available for consumer use.
