The HSE is inviting children from the age of five to 12 and over to get their Covid-19 booster vaccine this weekend.
Appointments are now available at Citywest Vaccination Centre in Dublin and Punchestown in Naas Co Kildare as part of the HSE’s Winter Vaccination Programme. According to the HSE, both Flu and Covid-19 viruses are expected to circulate in communities this winter.
A HSE spokeswoman said: "New bivalent Covid-19 vaccines are now being offered as booster doses. These adapted vaccines are expected to give you better protection against Covid-19, including the Omicron variant."
