The report, titled 'Five Babies in One Incubator,' outlines how attacks on medical facilities and healthcare workers have directly impacted the health and well-being of women and girls during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
The report accuses Israel of enforcing an unlawful blockade, leading to shortages of essential resources like water, food, and electricity. This has resulted in increased risks of miscarriage, preterm birth, stillbirth, postpartum hemorrhage, and underweight newborns.
