Grammy-nominated star Hozier has made St Patrick's Day extra special for Newcastle fans with news he will be back on tour this summer with a city date planned.
The Irish singer-songwriter, whose birthday is also March 17 making him just-turned 33, used the date to both share the big news that will see him back on the road across the UK after a four-year gap - and to release a new EP, Eat Your Young. He will play the 02 City Hall in Newcastle on July 3.
The Wasteland, Baby star and multi-platinum award-winner, and his band, also have major outdoor shows planned including Cardiff Castle and London Alexandra Palace Park. He'll be making his comeback in style and aside from the new record - which includes all-new material and three songs - he is also working on his third album, Unreal Unearth, which is set for release later this year.
