How worried should you be about monkeypox?

The monkeypox outbreak that has struck the UK, US and continental Europe this month appears to be continuing to spread.

There are now 179 confirmed cases in the UK, with infections also reported in 23 countries outside of West Africa including the US, Australia, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden as health officials move to reassure the public.
