Eurovision is nearly here and many of us will be preparing to celebrate.
The contest is only a few weeks away and excitement levels are through the roof. Every year, the EuroVillage and chosen arena host thousands of guests from around Europe but those who are unfortunate in grabbing tickets decide to take things into their own hands.
A homemade Eurovision party is a tried and tested event that every fan has been to at least once. They're held all over the world and the contest even shouts out a few during their live broadcasts.

Some fans intend to go all out, hosting massive parties and decorating their homes for the main event. One superfan, Marty Moncrieff, 52, has hosted Eurovision parties for his friends since 1991, and would be continuing this year if he hadn't managed to bag tickets for the main event.
Another, Pablo O'Hana, 28, started his own tradition in 2011 holding a party to mark Jedward's entry into the competition and has kept the celebrations coming every year. He said that each person invited must pick a country and food from that country to the party.
