nikmich: "I would like to ask what the transfer budget will be next season and if the permanent move of Romero will affect it?"
Alasdair says: "Making both Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski's moves permanent will have to be taken into account of course. That's almost £70million that Spurs will have to pay out this summer and they will do so because every penny is absolutely worth it. However, it's clear chairman Daniel Levy will have to find more money because there is plenty more work to be done and both Antonio Conte and Harry Kane will need to be convinced that next season will be something special.
"Tottenham's worst possible mistake would be to see what Conte has achieved and assume he doesn't need much more. They made that mistake under Mauricio Pochettino and it's part of the reason Spurs fell into the mess they did. The transfer budget will of course be dictated by whether Spurs finish in the top four or not, but even if they don't it needs to be a summer of ambition, not simply making do. That doesn't mean they have to spend incredible amounts, it means they have to spend cleverly. January proved Paratici can pick the right players for Conte and at a manageable costs and this summer whether the targets are big money, small money or even right, the key is that they're Conte players."

SchusterJJ: "Now that we have the Matt Doherty news who are going to be our right wing-back options this summer? Are the Djed Spence rumours real? What are your thoughts on him and other potential prospects?"
Alasdair says: "Spurs like Djed Spence. Fabio Paratici went to watch him recently, along with Brennan Johnson. Spence certainly ticks the homegrown box and is a talented young defender with plenty of attacking potential.
"I think Doherty has done enough to suggest that when he returns to fitness he will remain next season as an experienced wing-back and, while Emerson Royal now has the chance to make his case in the seven matches ahead, I do wonder whether he suits Conte's system enough. This summer could provide the opportunity for Spurs to get their money back as he's a decent right-back, just not a wing-back, and there will be interest in him.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs look at Stephane Singo, Torino's 21-year-old right wing-back, who ticks a lot of boxes for Spurs, Paratici and Conte. Paratici likes a loan with an option to buy deal and I think he'll be looking for plenty of those this summer."
George93: "What’s the latest on Nile John, it seems like the loan hasn’t worked out as well as Tottenham hoped for?"
Alasdair says: "It hasn't been the greatest loan move. The 19-year-old will have got some experience at Charlton from being in and around a first team squad in the Football League and being on the bench five times but in terms of minutes on the pitch, it's pretty much been a dud of a move. He was back on the bench at the weekend for the win at Rotherham but to have not played a single minute of first team football does call into question Spurs' choice of that particular move."
HarryJ: "What's the latest on Steven Bergwijn's future at the club? I feel like we should hold onto him, and have him ahead of Lucas in the pecking order."
Alasdair says: "I think it's going to depend on Steven Bergwijn himself and perhaps how hard Ajax push for him this summer. Conte likes him a lot and if it was down to him, he would keep him. The Dutchman is full of confidence right now after his three international goals in two games and the strike against Newcastle but he's just unfortunate that Spurs' front three are flying at the moment.
"Opportunities will arise next season and there should be plenty of matches to be played, but for Bergwijn he will obviously want to be a regular starter rather than a bit part player.
"It would be Spurs' loss if he were to go and Conte will no doubt attempt to convince him to stay, but much depends on where the player's head is at and just how much Ajax can throw at a transfer they desperately want to make."
Bash04: "In our previous transfer windows we've rarely brought in experienced players and have instead gone for players who are young but also able to play for us, do you think that'll continue or will we approach with a different angle for this important window approaching?"
Alasdair says: "I think there has to be a balance. Spurs is a club that buys players with the short-term and long-term in mind. It's worked on plenty of occasions in terms of talented individuals but there's also a ceiling to what young players alone can achieve as a unit. They need some experienced heads sprinkled among them. Tottenham do have some older players now who joined when they were young, but if Conte wants a new player who can make the difference and is an older head, the club need to make it happen as it could be a crucial building block not only for now but to help bring on those younger players for the future."
JohnSoi: "Is there any way Antonio Conte doesn’t get fully backed in the summer?"
Alasdair says: "There's surely no scenario where Spurs sit on their hands and muddle through. It's unthinkable. The club is finally back together again as a unit and if they allow Conte to walk off into the sunset, and the Italian won't think twice about doing so if they're not on the same page, then it's going to be a toxic nightmare at Tottenham. The fans have taken to Conte as has Kane and the club's other stars and young players. The noise inside and outside the club will be deafening if they throw away the opportunity they have with the former Inter Milan boss."
elliottharvey: "Do you think Conte is likely to stick with Emerson Royal at right wing-back for the rest of the season or do you think he could experiment with other players like Lucas, Sessegnon or Bergwijn?
Alasdair says: "I think he'll go with Emerson to start matches and if it isn't working then he shift an attacking player there as games wear on. I get the impression he likes Dejan Kulusevski there but whether that detracts from Tottenham's attack with the Swede in such fine form is another thing."
Jjqq asks: "How many days off did Conte give to players?"
Alasdair says: "He gave them Sunday and Monday off and they're back in training tomorrow. With Harry Kane flying over to the US to watch the Masters, he'll have had a whistle-stop tour over there."
Okan5858: "Do you still see a future with Lo Celso and Ndombele at Tottenham?"
Alasdair says: "I think it would be tough now for both players to feature under Conte. Lo Celso should have suitors this summer as he has impressed in the Champions League against some big sides, but Ndombele could be harder to get the kind of money for that Spurs will want in return for their club record signing. Another loan might be the only way forward as he just doesn't seem to be a Conte player."
SupercarAdventurer: "Wondering what your thoughts are on Son and his corners. I admire Son tremendously, however his corner kicks usually come up short. Could we do with a more decisive corner kicker?"
Alasdair says: "I think his corners do cause problems for the opposition, it's perhaps more about the movement of those players inside the box. Some of his deliveries recently have been good. It wasn't a corner, but just take the cross for Davies' goal against Newcastle as a great example of the whip he can get on his balls into the box."
AdamJamesHarris: "I live just outside of Middlesbrough and all my Boro fan friends are saying that a John Thrower has left to join Spurs. He’s a fitness coach and is very highly rated. Is this true?"
Alasdair says: "Yes, he joined back in January as a first team strength and conditioning coach after leaving Boro the previous month. He worked for them for nine years and was well regarded."
