How to get Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Trophy in Pokopia
You can win the trophy featured in Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest event by completing a run of this game in under one minute and 30 seconds. You must finish in under this amount of time and also win the round to qualify for this exclusive event prize.
In each round of Hide-and-Sneak, you’re randomly teleported to a starting spot somewhere in the vicinity of the nearby Pokémon Center. The game then begins, and Zorua and a few other Pokémon will start searching for you.
To have any shot at all at succeeding, you should first use the Camouflage ability to disguise yourself as something else. If you don’t start by doing this, there’s a good chance you’ll be caught almost right away.
Once you’re in disguise, make your way over to the PC at the Pokémon Center as quickly as possible. To claim Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Trophy, you must win the round by touching the PC within one minute and 30 seconds.
As soon as you manage to complete a round within this timeframe, Zorua will grant you the Hide-and-Sneak Trophy item as a reward. You’ll also earn all other event prizes you meet the requirements for and haven’t gotten yet. These other items aren’t exclusive to Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest event, but are still some nice freebies you’ll easily be able to find a use for, as many of them are fairly rare and tricky to get your hands on.
How to win Hide-and-Sneak in Pokopia
To win a round of Hide-and-Sneak so you can claim the exclusive event trophy as a prize, you should Camouflage yourself early on, take note of which Pokémon are looking for you, and move swiftly but carefully across the playing field until you manage to reach the PC at the Pokémon Center. Keep an eye on the timer in the upper left corner to ensure you get this task done within the required timeframe. Winning a round of Hide-and-Sneak is a mix of careful planning, strategy, and luck.
While you can try to plan and strategize as much as possible in each round, the direction each Pokémon faces and where they choose to move is quite random and unpredictable. This means you may have better luck in some rounds than others. For example, in the first round I tackled, all hunters were facing in my direction the entire time, so I couldn’t move anywhere without being caught. In the next round, though, they never looked my way even once, so I moved right from my spawn spot all the way to the PC without stopping.
Because of how unpredictable this system is, just keep trying Hide-and-Sneak rounds until you manage to get one where luck favors you over the hunters. It might take a few tries, but you’ll get there eventually. Along the way, you’ll also stock up on some other Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest event rewards for your efforts.
