The Washington Commanders [4-4] look to extend their winning streak to four games Sunday when the Minnesota Vikings [6-1] come to FedEx Field.
The Vikings enter Sunday’s game on a five-game winning streak, with their only loss coming in Week 2 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Minnesota [24-7] and Washington [24-8] lost to Philadelphia with similar scores.
It was another wild week for the Commanders. A Forbes story on Wednesday morning reported that Commanders owner Daniel Snyder had hired Bank of America to explore a potential sale. The team confirmed the news shortly after.
Lost in last week’s news is the return of former Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins. Cousins departed the franchise after the 2017 season and is in his fifth season with the Vikings. Cousins played Washington in 2019, but this is his first trip back to FedEx Field.
