How to watch Tottenham vs Team K? Kick-off time, match odds and team news

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for their first friendly of pre-season since returning to training last week, and they are set to face Team K League in the Coupang Play Series on Wednesday as part of their South Korean tour.

Antonio Conte is now underway in his first full season in charge of Spurs and will look to get off to a winning start in pre-season here, following an impressive summer transfer window which has welcomed five fresh faces so far.

And the majority of those will be hoping to get a run-out against Team K League, which is a side made up of two players from each of the 12 clubs in South Korea’s top division of football.

When is Tottenham vs Team K League?

Tottenham vs Team K League will kick-off at 12pm (BST) on Wednesday, July 13 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

This is the first ever match between the two teams and is Tottenham’s first visit to South Korea in almost 20 years, having competed in, and won, the Peace Cup in 2005.

After topping Group B after three matches ahead of Boca Juniors, South African side Sundowns and Real Socieded, Spurs then played Group A winners Lyon in the final, which they won 3-1 thanks to an own goal from Jeremy Berthod and a double from Roy Keane.

Team news

Conte will most likely start with the majority of the side which ended Tottenham’s final Premier League match of the season in the 5-0 victory at Norwich City in May but four of the club’s five new signings are also likely to be on show, with Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison all hoping to make their Tottenham debuts.

However, Clement Lenglet was unable to get a visa in time to feature, while Joe Rodon will miss out through illness. The quartet of Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso have been left at home, while Steven Bergwijn has been sold to Ajax.

As for Team K League, they will be managed by Kim Sang-Sik, who is the current boss of national champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and he will have two players for each of K League’s 12 clubs to choose from over the course of the game.

The majority of players are members of South Korea’s national team, including goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-woo and former Barcelona youngster Lee Seung-woo. Brazilian forward Cesinha and Portuguese striker Gerso Fernandes are also involved, along with former Nottingham Forest man Lars Veldwijk.
