After a long wait to see some kind of GTA 6 trailer 3, the GTA 6 extended look more than delivered. With around 26 minutes of gameplay, a host of new features and mechanics were shown off. And with a stellar GTA 6 soundtrack and some great songs to back up all the footage, it was one to remember.
Rockstar originally announced the latest big reveal of the new game earlier this month with the surprise collaboration with Netflix. In the lead up to its debut, alleged leaks started to surface, too, with more seemingly popping up just days out from the extended look, which prompted Rockstar to officially address them in a post on social media. How to watch the Netflix GTA 6 extended look
The Netflix GTA 6 extended debuted on August 27 at 3pm ET / 12pm PT / 8pm BST. If you have a subscription to the streaming service, you can still watch it on there now.
Rockstar announced the "first-of-its-kind partnership with Netflix" at the start of August, which gave subscribers of the streaming service the opportunity to see the GTA 6 extended look first.
"The anticipation and fandom around Grand Theft Auto 6 is unprecedented," Brandon Riegg, VP of Nonfiction at Netflix, said at Tudum. "[W]e're honored that Rockstar Games has partnered with us to debut the next part of the Grand Theft Auto story with Netflix members first".
Just prior to its release, Netflix updated the listing to confirm it's 26 minute runtime, with gameplay captured on PS5.
