How to watch the autumn rugby on Amazon Prime for free

Amazon Prime Video is the official home of all 21 of this autumn's rugby internationals.

But while the fixtures are technically behind a paywall, there is a way to make sure you stay up to date with the latest on-field action - if you time it right.

Prime Video will be broadcasting all of Wales, England, Scotland, France and Italy's matches in the newly-named Autumn Nations Series in the UK, while Ireland's home games will also be shown live on the platform for the first time this year.

Welsh language provision is also available on Amazon this year, meaning there is no S4C live coverage for the second consecutive year. Highlights from the games will be shown on the Welsh language channel instead.

But even without the option to watch Wales' games on S4C for free, there is a way to watch all of the autumn's rugby action on Prime Video free of charge - and that's with a free trial, which you can sign up for here .

How can I watch Amazon Prime for free?

First thing's first, Amazon Prime costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year. Alternatively, you could get an Amazon Prime Video-only subscription for £5.99 per month, without the other Prime benefits.

If you aren't an Amazon Prime customer, you can start a 30-day free trial which would grant you access to all of the action this autumn from the first game on Saturday, October 29 before the last match on Amazon on Saturday, November 26.

Be careful with the free trials, though, as customers are only eligible for a free trial of Prime every 12 months.

If you decide you don't want to continue with Amazon Prime beyond your free trial, just cancel before your 30 days is up. If you forget, you will then be charged.

You can sign up for a free Amazon Prime trial here.
