The 31st annual ESPY Awards should prove exciting for Kansas City Chiefs fans.
On Wednesday evening, the franchise will be well-represented at the award ceremony. Travis Kelce is set to present an award on stage. This is the second consecutive year he’ll be presenting an award. Last year, Kelce also provided some backstage coverage and commentary during the event.
Patrick Mahomes will also be among the celebrities and stars to attend the annual awards show from ESPN. Mahomes, of course, is nominated for “Best Male Athlete” and the “Best NFL Player” awards.
The entire Chiefs team is up to receive the annual “Best Team” award. Should they win, it would mark the second consecutive year the team has won a group award at the ESPYs. Last year, they were awarded “Best Game” for the 13-second playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
Entertainment during the ESPYs will include a performance from rapper Lil Wayne, a comedy sketch from Peyton and Eli Manning, and a performance from H.E.R. that will act as a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the V Foundation.
