The 30th annual ESPY Awards will be an exciting one for Kansas City Chiefs fans.
On Wednesday evening, the Chiefs have a chance to win an ESPY award for “Best Game” for the team’s divisional-round playoff win over the Buffalo Bills. It would be the first time that the team has won a group award in the ESPYS since 2018, when they shared a “Best Game” award with the Los Angeles Rams for their 54-51 Monday night loss.
Last season, former Chiefs guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif was honored with the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has previously won an ESPY for “Best NFL Player.”
In addition to the team being up for an award, the Chiefs will be represented at the show by one of their biggest stars. Tight end Travis Kelce will not only present an award, but he will be providing backstage coverage throughout the show, according to an ESPN press release.
