Sony unveils its winter line-up of games at State of Play September 2022

Sony’s State of Play event cued up various big announcements for gamers.

Sony has excited PlayStation fans by confirming a mixture of promising-looking titles from developers based all over the world. This was a slight surprise because Sony had said it would focus on Japanese developers in the run-up to this week’s Tokyo Game Show.

The highlight, undoubtedly, was a new trailer for the eagerly awaited God of War: Ragnorak. It not only promises an intriguing storyline and a beautifully realised world, but really shows off the power of the PS5 to deliver jaw-dropping visuals.
