Things didn’t look good for Snowpiercer fans last year when despite the season being completely in the can, TNT cancelled the show and announced they wouldn’t be airing its final outing. But AMC came to the rescue, picking up the remaining episodes and talking of franchise potential for the dystopian sci fi.
We left season 3 with the miles long train split between passengers who elected to follow Andre (Daveed Giggs) to a potential New Eden and those who chose to stay with Melanie (Jennifer Connelly). After a three month time jump, the season ended with Melanie spotting a missile launch on the horizon. No spoilers here, but season four is delivering answers, and revealing the identity of Clark Gregg’s mysterious new character.
Alongside Connelly and Diggs, the usual cast are back, including Sean Bean as Joseph, Rowan Blanchard as Alexandra, Alison Wright as Ruth and Mickey Sumner as Bess, in what is proving to be an action packed conclusion to the Snowpiercer saga.
