Rangers are set to host their second 'Rangers vs World Legends' event after last year's resounding success in a similar capacity; with Alex McLeish set to lead the Gers side out at Ibrox on Sunday.
Last year's game finished 3-2 to the away side; Shota Arveladze opened the scoring with a bullet header, though Carlos Marcena and Nuno Gomes turned the tie around. Player-manager Luis Figo then saw fellow countryman Quaresma score, before Paul Gascoigne secured an emotional return to Ibrox with a goal on 90 minutes.
The popular series has returned again this year, with donations being made to the Luis Figo Foundation. And, with the game set to take place at the weekend, fans will be vying to see the clash amid the international break. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Rangers Former Players Benevolent Club.
Light Blues hero Barry Ferguson will captain the Rangers team, which will feature the likes of Jermaine Defoe, Kris Boyd, Pedro Mendes and Carlos Cuellar to name but a few, with Alex McLeish in the dugout - whilst the away side will boast world class talent such as Jaap Stam, Michael Essien, Robin van Persie and Nwankwo Kanu amongst others.
Tickets are priced at just £18 for adults and £13 for concessions, with Junior Season Ticket holders and Junior 'MyGers' members able to grab a ticket for just £1.
But for fans who are unable to make the trip to Ibrox, you can stream the game live for £6 on Rangers TV by clicking the link here.
