The countdown to the Premier League season will begin in earnest when Nottingham Forest play their first friendly of the summer on Friday night.
Steve Cooper’s side have four weeks to get ready for their opening clash at Newcastle United on August 6. And this week sees the Reds take a significant step in their preparations.
They have been in Spain on a training camp, putting in the hard work to build up their fitness. Coventry City will be the opponents as Forest round off their trip with a match at the Pinatar Arena in Alicante.
